偉人の生涯は感動的で面白い。親や教師が教えることも模範を示すこともできないような、人間のすばらしい生き方、ものの考え方を伝えてくれる。幼少のころに偉人伝から得た感動や教訓がいくぶんなりとも残存していれば、大人の世界も少しは変わってくるはずである。


私の解答: The lives of greatest people are quite interesting and moving. They teach us wonderful ways of thinking and living no teachers or no parents can teach or show to us. With the impressions we got and the lessons we learned through reading the biographies of greatest people, the adult world would be changed for the better.

Great people's life is moving and interesting. We can learn from stories of them the way of living and thinking that parents and teachers cannot teach and display. If adults remembered how impressed by the stories and what learned from in their childhood in the least, the world of adults would be different from what it is.


赤線。

lifeが単数になっているのは不可算名詞だという意識をお持ちだったからでしょうか。

確かにlifeは「生活」という意味や「（一生のうちの）ある時期」などにおいては不可算名詞にもなります。

しかし、「（ある人まるごとの）一生」という意味では可算名詞の方がわかりやすくなります。


否定文の場合はandではなくorもしくはnorでつないでやってください。

e.g. He wasn't allowed to live or die in his unhappy marrige. （彼は不幸な結婚生活の中で生きることも死ぬことも許されなかった）

う～、結婚なんてこyこyですね。


displayだと「見せびらかす」「展示する」の意味合いが出てきてしまうので単純にshowでまとめてやってください。


what learnedはweか何かをお書き忘れになったのでしょうか。


in the leastは否定文で「少しも～ない」という意味です。

ここで必ずしも「少しは」を訳出する必要はありませんが、あえてそうするならat least a littleなどとしてやってください。


オレンジ線。

differentだけだとちょっと物足りない感じがします。

different in a good wayとしてやるといいかと思われます。
